Dear colleagues,
Beginning Fall 2026, we will be following the new guidelines by the main ECE office and asking you that you submit your syllabi on DualEnroll.
1) all active instructors will receive a notification to upload course materials for the semester/AY they're teaching via DualEnroll
Once you log in, 2) you will be prompted to window that looks like this:

For all ECE instructors, the instructions ask for “an updated syllabus and any other course materials you deem appropriate.” For our intents and purposes, 3) we ask that, continuing with past practice, you upload your syllabus and all relevant writing assignments/projects that you have ready. We don’t necessarily need detailed assignment sheets for all the assignments, although you’re more than welcome to provide those if you want. Ideally, we ask that you include, in your syllabus or on a separate document, a sketch or thumbnail summarizing the assignments students will be completing and how they might build on each other.
If you have not received a communication from the main office or DualEnroll notifying you to upload your syllabus, that means that this particular task has not been assigned to you yet. As far as I understand, a staff member from the main office has to initiate that step first before you can upload your materials, unlike our previous collection method, where you were able to submit documents at any time using the web form.
If you believe that you should have received instructions to upload course materials but didn't, please contact the ECE Graduate Assistant at marienour.nakhle@uconn.edu
